The MXR M109S EQ guitar effect pedal is a 6-Band graphic equaliser that can be used to have absolute control over your instrument’s tone. An EQ can be used in many ways to shape your sound. You can use it for a solo boost to cut through the mix, a bass boost, a mid boost, a treble boost. You can also use it to cut parts of the EQ. A cool sound is taking the treble end off which makes your tone sound quite Lo-Fi. You’ve got a HUGE 18dB of boost or cut on each of the 6 EQ sliders. That’s a lot. You’ll be able to achieve lots of good EQ boosts or cuts here.This pedal isn’t just great for guitar. You can use it on absolutely ANYTHING! Anything that needs a bit of an EQ tweak can be put through this pedal to get it sounding great. Both great in the studio and live. It’s powered by a 9 volt power adaptor or by a 9v square battery.
