Description
This is an 18″ Old K Zildjian from the Intermediates period of 11959-66.
It has a beautiful look with deep hammer marks and wavy raising characteristic of the Intermediates period.
The cup is thick and slightly large, so it is possible that it was one half of a matching cymbal.
The overall weight is thick and heavy. It is difficult to crash, but as a ride, it has a clear point and the ping stands out, and complex overtones follow as a reverberation.
This is a perfect balance for those who are looking for a thick 18″ ride like the old Steve Cudd.
The center hole is clean and not deformed, and it is still in good condition for use without any problems.
The 18″ size has a slightly high pitched ping sound and a nice cup sound.
This cymbal is thicker, but you can enjoy the rich and deep sound unique to Old K.
Size:18 inches
Item rank: B: Fairly scratched and used, but no problems in normal use.
